ReplyDeleteI LOVE Hibiscus! But in this neck of the woods they are annuals! (they say bring them in and they will winter okay - but they get sO full of ants during summer that there is NO way they are coming IN for the winter!)

Pictures of hibiscus sounds like a poem. I think August is sad because I can feel the end of summer in it, but it gets so hot that a part of you feels ready for it.

ReplyDeleteHow do get the plants so large? Mine don't seem to make it through the winter and I have to replant each year. Not extremely low temps, sometimes in the mid-to-upper 20s is the worst. So, how to I bank them to live through that?

We had a beautiful silver-white full moon last night, it was quite exceptional.
August here in the UK was much like July and June - mostly rain and cold.....definitely a summer to forget here in England!

I nust say I had trouble with quite a fe of the ladies somewhere after the 70's....Everyone looked alike practically with the exception of a few....It says to me that our original moviw stars were much more interesting loking and looked more like people...Unenhanced People....lol, if you get my drift....But whoever did this is BRILLIANT!
