The drummers are back ! Spring is officially here! this is a percussion group playing on sunday evenings at the beach, but they disappear during the winter months. Depending on the wind direction we can hear them at home too, although there is a 2km distance. We heard them at the distance, soft cadence. Then we went for a walk to the beach and saw them live. Spring breeze, wonderful rhythm, strong arms. Frühlingsgefühle! Primavera ! feel the rythm, smell the spring scents...
Ooh, Spain! I haven't ever been but it's on the list if I ever do a "Great Food Tour of the Universe!"
ReplyDeleteI'm here from Michele's!
Hello, Michele sent me.
ReplyDeleteWow, it's still Sunday here. How fun to visit Spain.
Someone can often be heard blowing on conch shell at sunset here on our beaches. But I've never heard drums there.
Aloha from Maui, Hawaii. :)

ReplyDeleteHow relaxing that must be!! Beautiful! I must come visit! :)
ReplyDeleteI love drums and different rhythms. Hearing it on the beach must be special.
ReplyDeleteWow! Sounds a fantastic idea!
ReplyDeleteThere's something fabulous about a beach at sunset, it's almost mystical and with the drumming as well ... *scowls out of the window at the wintery clouds and the buffeting wind*
A beautiful way to spend your Sunday.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the coming week.
That's great! Are you sure it wasn't the FFMB? LoL
ReplyDeleteGood point, Friday's Child!!!
ReplyDeleteOkay.. MAN! I want to move to Spain now. I'll tell hubby this evening when he gets home.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool!
ReplyDeleteThe sounds of drums, the breaking of waves, spring in the air...how beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have a son who drums and also a daughter who is a drummer. There is a distinction between those two words. My son's drumming is more primative and spiritual. My daughter was a drummer for a hard rock group many years ago.
Sounds like the perfect end to your weekend :)
ReplyDeleteI can not only hear the drums, I can feel that Spanish sand between my toes. Lovely to drop in, as ever Mar!
