Fall colors in Barcelona this afternoon. The giant noodles are part of the city's Christmas lights this year. A soup with this particular type of noodle (galet) is part of the Catalonian tradition, served on Christmas Eve.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea for Christmas lights. I thought our giant acorn because my city's nickname is the city of oaks was original but I think the giant noodles have us beat in originality.

ReplyDeleteBesides the colors and the picture in general which is really beautiful, the noodle soup would be very much appreciated by Mr. G. and not the traditional "Foie Gras" which we have never eaten !
