This week's themes are kitchen (Gattina's Saturday's Photohunting)
and hand (Sandi's The Saturday PhotoHunt )
The door below with hand-painted glass was the way to the kitchen of a small French restaurant near Grenoble. A charming little place we used to visit twice a year. Unfortunately, the owners had to sell the place due to health issues and it is now a modern place... At least I have my picture and fond memories. And it helped me to combine the two hunts today! Happy weekend.
That's too bad they had to sell. That's a charming hand painted door and great idea to combine the themes.
ReplyDeleteHave you been to the place since the previous owners sold it? It's fun and challenging to combine the themes weekly. Sometimes the themes go so well together you'd think Gattina and Sandi planned to do that over coffee and croissant.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
Awww its always a shame when things go too modern. At least you have your photos and memories :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful hand-painted glass. The sun streaming though would be glorious.

Wow, you managed to combine the two themes in a single photo without an actual shot taken inside the kitchen. Congratulations! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice kitchen door ! Would suit me too, only in our house the doors are all open (besides the toilet) neither Mr. G. nor me like close doors ! It's probably due to the cats too, because otherwise you have to play doorman the whole day.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place!
ReplyDeleteI'd join you there for a cup of coffee :-)
Happy Hunting~
Clever take on the themes! Lovely photograph!
ReplyDeletesad that they have to give up the place. that door is very lovely and appears like it welcomes anyone who would want to take a peek. :)
ReplyDeleteawww... sorry they had to give up such a charming place.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week ahead!
you’re a great professional for writing it, congrats.
