Blue skies for Blue Monday
Tomorrow is a national holiday in Spain, celebrating the anniversary of Christopher Columbus's arrival in the Americas, specifically the Bahamas, which occurred on October 12, 1492. Which makes the current one a wonderful short week!
This is the Columbus monument in Seville (see "1492" on top?), more precisely in the Murillo Gardens. A picture of the entire monument can be seen here.
All my life I never knew it was celebrated in Spain. Shame on me. Beautiful photo. :)

ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday, Mar! Check out my book giveaways. I just added another one.
A very nice blue feature honoring a special day. I enjoy visiting to see something different from your country.
ReplyDeleteWow this sky is really blue !
ReplyDeleteBTW each year there are more Halloween decorations ! The pictures I took in this Garden store didn't have any Halloween things last year and this year there is a whole part of the store with Halloween things.
People also start to decorate their gardens ! 5 years ago there was nothing at least I never noticed anything.
Beautiful blue sky!
ReplyDeleteSuch sparkling blue and your photo angle is really exciting. Have a great day.
