Kir is a popular French cocktail made with a measure of crème de cassis (blackcurrant liqueur) topped up with white wine. It is a Kir Royal if made with champagne. Cheers!
I used to have to serve them at weddings (the Royal one), but never really liked the taste of them myself. Probably a good thing, nobody wants a drunk waitress serving hot food...

ReplyDeleteHmmmm tasty. Reminds me of kira, which in engrish means killer. Engrish is a sort of Japanesed English. Ls are replaced with rs, for an example.
