ABC Wednesday ¸¸.•*¨*•¸¸.•*¨*•¸¸.•*¨*• Today's Flowers
Not my best ever photographed blooms, but fresh from my garden. This is the lantana I rescued from an impossible place in my garden to be properly potted and taken care of. It would have probably survived where it originally found a place to grow by itself, but now I can enjoy the beautiful blooms right outside my door. I enjoy how the blooms change color as they mature, which results in different colors in one flower.
Beautiful Blooms, is such a nice choice for B... And I think the Bloom you chose is quite Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love the color of your lantana. I have a lot of it in my garden but mine is orange, red, and yellow. Your pastel is so lovely.
ReplyDeleteB is for brevipedunculata
Beautiful blooms, indeed! I have lantana bushes in my garden, pink like yours and yellow, too. They've grown so big. One thing good about lantana is that it never stops blooming.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a blooming week!
I love lantana and I have the same color plants here. The bees and the butterflies love it! Did you know it grows wild in Hawaii?
ReplyDeleteOh, they are beautiful blooms and such a lovely colors! Terrific capture, Mar! Have a great week!

Oh, yes...beautiful blooms! Lovely color and lighting, too!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant - and you are so brilliant to have found a spot where you can see and enjoy them easily! :D
ReplyDeleteI love lantenna and haven't seen it for a while. It grows in Hawaii just fine, but I don't think it survives the winter here in NM. What a sweet shot!
ReplyDeleteOh, that's pretty! Lantana is the one which is attractive to hummingbirds and bees, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteHow pretty and delicate! Love the variety of color :)
ReplyDeleteHave a good rest of the week!

BEAUTIFUL, Mar....That is a different species of Lantana than we have here....The Blossoms are much fuller there in Spain than on ours here in Los Angeles...And here, Lantana grows wild, in a number of colors.

ReplyDeleteLovely little blossoms. This is a great shot!
ReplyDeleteNice flower looks like hortensia (?) I am real bad in flower names !
ReplyDeleteIt is really lovely blooms.
ReplyDeleteThe Malaysian and Singapore people don't like lantana for it's extreme odor. Does you have it? I won't tell you what they call it. LOL
ReplyDeleteI love Lantana but my partner says it won't survive our weather. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI have one just like this!!!! I love the multi-colored petals.
ReplyDeleteMy Wednesday Post
Lantana is so beautiful and it is a wonderful picture so please say it's not one your best pictures, it's lovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
This flower is really fascinating - one flower and different colours.
ReplyDeleteI never stop beeing thrilled by Lantana.
btw. Later this week I'll post on the Nordic ABC - P, from our trip in 1994 to Puerto Montt. All photos are (bad) scannings from slides, but I think you might recognize. I'll tell you when posted. Friday at the latest.
If I were a Bee, I would Buzz right to those flowers, without a Backward glance!
ReplyDeleteOn behalf of the ABC Wednesday Team, thank you for joining us for Round Seven. I am looking forward to seeing your posts each week, as we work our way through the alphabet.
I like how hydrangeas have different colours depending on the soil, getting a blue one to stay blue is difficult, very pretty.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers. Clever choice of B-word!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Anna

They are beautiful, especially the predominant color. We have two lantana plants, just put in this spring. Not doing too well. I think they need more water or better soil. We just put them in to cover a couple of bare patches
