spring under my feet

Look at that little stream as seen from the chairlift!! (pictures straight out of the camera- taken last week. I know most of you are sick and tired of snow...not this skier, who has to drive 8 hours to enjoy the magnificent white landscape!)


Skiers are fun people. Here's the Penguin Club out for some adventure. I don't know any of them, but they were more than willing to pose !



The above pictures are my entry for this week's Ruby Tuesday,  this time with only a little bit of red.

Aloha! this baseball cap cracked me up and reminded me of our charming Hawaiian friend, Thom!

    that penguin hat is a great way to make people laugh in the depressing cold. We too have to drive 5 hours if we want to ski.

    Regarding Saffron, I only know how to cook saffron rice. If you cook 3 cups of rice, you need about 10 strains of the stamen. As it is quite expensive, I am quite stingy about it. But the aroma is very good.

    Your little bit of red is the only colour in the first photo and takes prime centre position in the second photo so it is very noticeable! Great shots!

    looks like fun, very cold fun. I like the photo with the ski's stuck in the ground...something about the composition appeals to me. Happy Ruby Tuesday.

    Nice pictures, but I think you will get stoned if you dare to show snow pictures again, now that we are all so happy that spring has finally arrived, lol !

    Love it.. I am a snow lover and of course I prefer cross country skiing. However any winter sport is great. I would also travel to get to the snow, however this year we had over 70+ inches. so I got my fix,LOL.

    I never learned to ski, but it has always looked like fun. I wanted to sit by the roaring fire sipping a hot buttered rum!
