We have three plants like this that were given to us by an elderly lady in a pretty dried up bedraggled condition. I am not known for my green thumb, but I just cut off the dead stems of flowers and they have been growing and blooming ever since.
How pretty....I see a lot of these around the city in people's mailbox flowerbeds. Deep, deep red ones. I'm thinking they're good for not having to water much since I see no one out there watering them....lol, and they're lovely.

ReplyDeleteP.S. -- the plants were in the dried up bedraggled condition not the elderly lady!!! Why do I always proof read my comments AFTER I've posted them??
