cream petals

true colours thursday:  c r e a m

This is an Eremurus stenophyllus (bungei) (pls correct me if I am wrong!), a beautiful plant I encountered for the first time in Lisbon last month. I think the petals match this week's color: Cream (#FFFDD0) as defined by the wiki here.

  1. I have no idea of plant names I only see if it's ugly or beautiful in this case it is beautiful ! I consider to suggest my son to name his child " Eremurus" it sounds very posh ! (if some day he has one)

  6. That is lovely! The flowers sort of remind me of honeysuckle... of course I know it's not! But it looks like a cross between a honeysuckle and a cactus to me! LOL! Do they smell sweet?
