Here is where couples in love come to leave their love locks. Hand in hand they throw the key into the river, this way their love will last forever... A bit of romanticism a day makes this world a better place! Below is the view of the river, one love lock down to the right, the arrow points to the Gold Tower- Torre del Oro.
And this is the view of the Torre del Oro at night from the riverside:
How romantic! I love that idea.
ReplyDeleteYour night shot is beautiful with those glowing golden reflections!
My post is here: Carletta’s Captures.
I love the night shot! And I have heard about those locks somewhere before, now I will wonder all day where that was :)
ReplyDeleteThis was a new one on me. Love Locks. Nice idea if you are in love or have been in love or are going to be in love. I have been in love for 55 years to the same lady. A young thing. Just 18. She could jump up, in her red zipper jacket, and strike a fantastic pose on the hood of my friend's car and I still look at that picture in awe. Wow. Well life is like that. We are old guys now and can't jump anywhere.
ReplyDeleteNo idioms today? I LOVE those Love locks though! I've never heard of such a thing -- but obviously millions of others HAVE! I love the heart shaped locks on that google page! Once again, I've learned something from blogging! ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, and a nice place.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.

Okay. I forgive you for not posting idioms today, this is a beautiful post. What a romantic thing to do, I had never heard of it before! Beautiful pictures, as always.
ReplyDeletewhen I saw the love locks in Seville I thought how sweet, but when I clicked on the pictures in Italy & Seoul I'm thinking that something has to be done! When there gets to be so many locks that the view is obstructed I think it is like grafiti. Perhaps in Seville the locks are removed after a time or it just isn't as popular?
ReplyDeleteThe views were stunning though!
I am happy tah you came back - now it is mine tour I can only see 3, have to look one more time.
ReplyDeleteSo romantic with the locks.
