creamy

French Alps, SOTC:straight-out-of-the-camera

Creamy landscape (click to enlarge) ... because many times when I am skiing I feel I am in a huge bowl of Chantilly Cream..!! (the sweetened whipped cream, sometimes vanilla-flavoured, which it is said to have been invented by François Vatel, maître d'hôtel at the Château de Chantilly in the 17th century.)

  36. Yes! It does look like whipped cream. I hope it was light and airy like it Creme Chantilly. The snow is like concrete where I live because it also rains and freezes so I don't necessarily think of snow as 'creamy'. :)

  37. It looks like the decoration on a really rich Christmas cake. Creamy and beautiful.
