Homer called it "liquid gold". It is olive oil. My tasty choice for this week's theme: yellow. Since I live in Spain I had olive oil and sunshine in mind for the theme, it was very difficult to put that in pictures. Thirty shots later I had to settle for one. It is sometimes easier to go through my archives...!
I like it a lot.
ReplyDeleteAND... it makes me miss Spain. A lot.
Great shot! I LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteLiquid gold! Oil!
ReplyDeleteThat's worth a fortune!

ReplyDeleteHave to admit that when I first saw the photo and read "liquid gold", I thought it'd be a bottle of perfume rather than olive oil! ;b
ReplyDeleteHey There,
ReplyDeleteNetchick sent me. This is a fantastic picture. Like those before me I am a fan of Olive Oil. I cook with it, dip bread in it and think the tuna that comes from Spain that is canned in it is heavenly. Olives are just as tasty.
Jennifer

Have a great weekend!
We love olive oil. Lots of olive trees and locally made olive oil here in South Australia.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that I don't like any form of oil in my diet, but I'm happy to enjoy a photo of that quality any day of the week. You've made it look so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat's my favorite yellow shot of the day so far! Absolutely love that!
ReplyDeleteI was remiss in not including a photo of my favorite yellow thing on the planet... I have rectified that and "Elvis is now in the building".

Then we went to Maastricht, as it is only 30 km from there and had a wonderful day eathing mossels !!
That is such a LOVELY shot!!! Soft and warm. Though I might be biased since I love olives and olive oil....
ReplyDeleteI love this shot! It's wonderful and perfect for the theme :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe...But I LOVE this picture! Sometimes that is what it takes, I find....Taking many many many sgots of the same thing from slightly different angles, etc....And THEN....you get such a wonderful picture as this one....Just my opinion, my dear.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, sorry for my late visit.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely shot. My hubby is the chef in the house and he likes using olive oil particularly when making pasta dishes.
Nice concept. Thanks for the visit.
