Ruby Tuesday is courtesy of Work of the Poet.

  1. Oooo... I feel hot looking at them!
How do they use these chillies?

  2. That sure is hot!! Great for a Ruby!! Enjoy your day Mar!!

  3. Nice find. Did you buy some?

  4. Chile peppers in Chile - surely not! :)
    Great find Mar!

My post is at Carletta’s Captures my new photoblog

  5. Wonderful shot...brings back memories!

  6. I love it!

I grew some of these last year but I think that they got cold (freeze) cuz they got black spots on them. :( but I'm not deterred...I will try again this year and hopefully make something with them.

  7. This is a wonderful photo with so many textures and contrasts...beautiful.

  8. I LOVE THIS!!! I think America lacks this. Open markets with dried chili peppers.... or even beautiful fresh fruit. WE get fruits and vegetable STANDS on the side of the road. But not open markets. Least not where I come from! Tis sad! I think everyone should have them! That's gorgeous! You know... I think I just really MISS having a "neighborhood"... sidewalks and all... *sigh*... Got coffee?

  9. Great choice for Ruby Tuesday.

  10. Do you get a recipe to go with ? : )
It's an brilliant post for Ruby Tuesday. Well-presented. Love the musical instruments in the shop in the background.

  11. Really now! These look so innocent just hanging dried...ones in a dish I actually bit into the dried pepper...didn't make that mistake twice!

  12. for some reason this makes me smile :)
    love the photo.

  13. So original for us! thanks Mar! I wish i can visit Chile one day and admire the dried chili peppers!

  14. I love the post, great red hot reds! Have a great Ruby Tuesday.

  15. They are certainly "Red Hot"...lol! Love this picture, dear Mar.

BTW: I LOVED your comment about Penelope Cruz....lol...Is that who she really is? Oh Dear! Well, my pick, as you know, had been Viola Davis....There is just no comparison...Believe Me!

  16. that's pretty, especially with the blue behind it
