This is from my pot plant you see on the left. If you identify it, please let me know!! it sort of looks like a fig leave but it is not. ..
Update (after the third comment and exhaustive investigation!!) thanks to my clever book on plants: it's an
aralia. More precisely, it's a
fatsia or Japanese Aralia. See a fantastic shot
here. I also learned it only grows flowers when the plant is growing outdoors. Like mine!
This is very lovely!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so delicate.
I have no idea ! I first thought it would be a macro shot of a "Pusteblume" (don't know the name in English) but the leaves don't fit !
ReplyDeleteAnd the flower goes with the leaves I presume? I haven't a clue...it's flower (presuming it is) is lovely...perfectly titled by the way.
ReplyDeleteIt is unusual and spectacular, that's what it is! Great shot.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you found your answer, as I have no clue! It looks beautiful though!

ReplyDeleteI knew the plant, but have never seen it flower before. I did not realize they had a flower. You captured it beautifully:)
ReplyDeleteI knew it as Fatsia, but I've never seen it bloom!

ReplyDeleteI have some very special flowers in my post today too.... Mother nature sure is giving us much excitement!
The leaf reminded me of plants I've seen in certain parts of Amsterdam.
