I attended a little Advent market last week, a small number of artists where exhibiting their creations and selling them themselves. A wonderful opportunity to have a little chat about their pieces! There were many beautiful items to choose from, not everything was about Christmas! these are the Advent wreaths the German community was looking for, since the 1. Advent is this coming Sunday and the first candle will be lit. I have an evergreen (from the Hamburg years) made out of porcelain to use every year as I am not talented to make a wreath of this kind (or of any kind!)
Those look great!
ReplyDeleteI want to make one this year too!
I'm so sorry to hear about your camera!!
I can imagine how terrible that must be,it would be almost like being amputated for me!
Nice setting! The wreaths look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it's advent already...
ReplyDelete(Swedish) greetings from West Africa!

I love your wreaths, Mar!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I didn't learn about Advent wreaths until visiting Iceland at Christmastime. Now Advent candles are a must for me. I don't do wreaths, but I have a special candleholder for them. Nice post.
ReplyDeleteThat looks really beautiful! Nice shot too:)
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Yen
Very pretty! Lots of hustle and bustle around here as people gather up the materials to make their Advent wreaths. I must get mine organized too. I can't believe next Sunday is the first Advent already.

Time sure flies, eh. Beautiful wreaths, there!
ReplyDeleteThat's really pretty, love the arrangement and the fabric for tablecloth.
ReplyDeleteNow Mar... this interests me. WHY do you light an advent wreath? What is the significance of the Advent Wreath in your household? (this question was 20 times longer until I got around to the LAST sentence and that sort of summed up what I was getting at!) LOL!
ReplyDeleteoh I love both of those wreaths! After searching for years it seemed, I finally found a wreath that I settled with (it's fake poinsettias), I like that evergreen one so much better. I wonder if my dh would get upset with me for looking for another one. ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Display on that Table, Mar....! I cannot believe that Christmas is just around the corner...! This year seemed to fly by....!
ReplyDeleteCome now, Mar. I bet you could make one as easily as anyone!!
