Looking forward to a quiet week ahead. At least blogwise! no memes, no challenges, no blogging directions...I need a refreshment - a few drops of summer rain... (Update after Gattina's comment: I am not taking a break, I already take blogging breaks when I go grocery shopping! I am just opting for free blogging for a few days at least today!)
This is so simple with so much beauty!
ReplyDeleteLove it Mar!
Not doing the door challenge?
That looks beautiful I have to try that once too we have so much rain it should be very easy ! You need a break from blogging ? How strange, I couldn't live anymore without it, everyday I have to hunt something else ! Saturday I went to an old abbey in ruins (my pictures look as if I had taken them in Greece) and yesterday an old castle. There I found nice doors. I always combine this with taking a friend with me and having a glass somewhere ! I think I would be bored to death if I didn't blog !
ReplyDeleteOh that is a BEAUTIFUL picture, Mar! I LOVE the raindrops on that leaf....! And the color of the leaf is amazingly rich.....Lovely, Lobely!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment, my dear....But just know that some things are more vivid in my memories than others.....Those first three jobs stuck in my brain in a very real way----maybe because I was so young and it was a shock. Believe me there is so much I don't remember....lol!
But it helps to write it all down, you know?
I understand taking a break from "scheduked" things....sometimes you just need to do your own thing or nothing...! Enjoy, my dear!
That photograph is lovely Mar. I thought I was going to have a quiet blogging week too but there are so many doors . . . ha.
ReplyDeleteThat's nice... having a blogging-free week. It's like a holiday.
ReplyDeleteGosh, we are so addicted to blogging. heehee...
That is a terrific photo Mar!
ReplyDeleteFor as many memes, daily, that I do - I try to work on them in the quiet time on Sunday Afternoon for the entire week. That way, my blogging is done for a week at a time --unless something happens for a particular day then I add that. If not, I have plenty of free time to spend with hubby and shopping and cooking and LIFE. LOL
So, I can understand why you wish to take some time off. It's the memes I tellya...[kidding!] They'll wear you down. [kidding again!]
Wonderful shot...as for the blogging, I subscribe to BWO:blogging without obligation and have noted its image on my sidebar...so you get my full support re taking a break!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Gattina. I simply find I get bored if I am not blogging visiting my friends. It's funny but the people I read often now have become dear friends, thus making this big world seem very small.
ReplyDeleteThat photo is like a soft refreshing summer shower. Lovely :)
ReplyDeleteI understand BOTH points of view on this one! Like some of the others, I find that blogging does NOT interfere with my life so much as it enhances it! I look at the world differently when I'm on a blogging adventure! The combination of the camera and the blog put some FUN into otherwise mundane living! A trip to the grocery is no longer JUST a trip to the grocery! I'm looking for ... whatever the item of the week is! And if I can't find it in my daily travels, well then... it's time for a field trip!!! UNfortunately right NOW my field trips are being held hostage by DEREK's need of me to provide him with transportation... This better be solved by the time I return from the beach! I do not like being tied down!!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHi Mar:)
ReplyDeleteI love to photograph objects with waterdrops,
nice shot
Have a great time!
ReplyDeleteYou call that no blogging?
ReplyDeleteGreat picture Mar, love it!
What a beautiful picture: fresh and delightful!
ReplyDeleteHave a great brake - we all need that once in a while - and we'll be here the next week too you know :-)
This photo is lovely and refreshing! Have a great mini-break!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo!! I love it!!!
ReplyDeleteNo rain still here! Perhaps this night as I see clouds in the black sky outside!
