That is funny you post about that. I WAS just thinking this morning how I wish I had shutters like that. When we were in Switzerland, my little one would sleep until 11 am if I didn't wake her thanks to the shutters. Here she is up at 7! And BLue shutters are SOO COOL! Thanks for the visit to snap2days 2!
Those shutters are lovely. If the light there is anything like it is in Scandinavia then I know why they need the shutters. The light in the middle of the day is so strong its a blessing to hold it out. Keeps the temperature down.
You have been given an award from me. Drop by and see and play along if you wish!
Oh yes !!! I always had to sit there behind in the dark and electric light while outside the sun was shining during my holidays in Italy 22 years ago ! That's why I got fat up to go there, lol Now I refuse to sit in the dark longer then 30 min ! What do you mean by open ID "works" ???
This is what I LOVE about "Italian" shutters ... they close! In America most shutters are just for decoration! I can't remember the last time I saw REAL shutters! Great shot! Great crop!
Very clever. The first time I stayed in Italy, it took me a while to figure out how to work the shutters. They are pretty cool. I don't think there are even shutters on houses here in Hawaii!
I am passing along to you, with best wishes, the Brilliant Weblog Award. Details for this award and how you can also pass it along to your favorite blogs!
