(I am back home and my camera has hardware problems, will have to send it in for repair... but first I will take sunny pictures of this wonderful yucca later on today. Wish me luck! I am not pleased with this shot but I wanted a follow up on the prior post...)
wow ... that's gorgeous!! thanks for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteWOW that's pretty!
ReplyDeleteI don't know this Yucca....We have Yucca's here in California, but the flowers are on a HUGE Stalk....I've never been close enough to one to get some good pictures of the actual flowers on the stalks....They are Native to this area and they are all over on every hill!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing more of these flowers....
Sorry to read about the Camera needing The Camera Doctor...Hope they can fix it quickly and get it back to you--post haste!
Hope you had a GREAT time Mar....!
And by the way....I LIKE that picture, a lot!
ReplyDeleteI can see why you were anticipating the blossoming. Looks wonderful. I hope you had a wonderful trip too and that your camera recovers quickly.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back ! hope you had nice holidays in the Alps ! The blooming Yucca is beautiful ! What a difference in 10 days !
ReplyDeleteI had a wonderful stay in my Art summer school ! The only disappointing thing was I didn't learn anything about photoshop ! I knew more than my teacher ! It was in fact a workshop about photo shooting, lol ! But still I learned quite a lot.
We were 300 students of all kind of arts on the campus and it really was very nice. Everybody so openminded and friendly no aggressivity or long faces ! What a difference to the daily world !
They're gorgeous when in bloom, aren't they!
ReplyDeleteMar is back! [jumps up and down and claps hands] Yay! Welcome home!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear about the camera. I hope it is an easy fix. In the meantime, this is one heck of a photo! You may not like it, but we never saw your vision, so we're plenty dazzled.
Wow what a beautiful bloom. Our yuccas are never quite that spectacular! Happy WW
ReplyDeleteOh wow! This is too beautiful! Worth waiting ten days for it to bloom.

Well, you might not be pleased, but I think it is a lovely picture. The blossoms are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the purple tips! And I agree, this picture looks great! I love how the other plant leaves sort of border the blooms.
