This is a wonderful award I got from the even more wonderful Hootin' Anni, who created it and wrote that..."Since it's my award to give, I personally like the bloggers who have a great outlook, ones who don't continually complain over such trivial things in their blogs like a backache, or a cold...you know the 'woe is me' kind (...) Today, I choose others that are willing to strive in the trials and tribulations [from what I read in their blogging style] and see a rose, stop and smell it, and enjoy living!!! They are the givers--" (complete text can be found at the end of her post here)
Thank you very, very much, Hootin' Anni, you made my day!! :)

ReplyDeleteReally nice capture here. I like how you got in tight. The lighting is well done too-shadowed on one side and highlighted on another. Well done.
ReplyDeleteI love Granny Smith apples. Great shot.
ReplyDeleteYou are so deserving of the award, I couldn't agree more with Anni about your outlook. It's always a pleasure to come here.
I'm absolutely insane about that color green this year. (Every year it's a different color that grabs my attention, and I think my husband is happy to be out of the red phase: red lipstick which I still wear, of course; red kitchen, red pillows, red, red, red.) I've painted our living room/dining room/front hall this luscious color, and just today bought a new spring coat this color. I think I'm justified, don't you? :) Your apple looks divine.
ReplyDeleteI like the way the light catches the tip of the stem. Very cool lighting on this one.
ReplyDeleteOh, Mar, I wanted to reach out and get one and take a bite. If only I am able to :) Nice photo.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. Way to go! Beautiful photo at the top!
