photo hunt: practical

Picture this: you'd like to expand your restaurant and a palm tree is on the way. What you need is a practical solution: build around it! This is what a a local restaurant did and it looks like you see below. And yes: that's the Mediterranean Sea.



And here is another practical solution as seen in another fish restaurant in Barcelona: a fish skeleton as purse holder! Isn't this clever and just very practical for us ladies?

  7. I have seen restaurants that have built around trees. AND actually My parents had a house like that one! very cool!
    Also LOVe the Purse holders!!!
    I had never seen a doll holder either (that is why I had to take a photo!)

  51. I read this article last year about the number of microbes on the bottom of women's purses from them putting them down on floors everywhere. It was awful. A purse holder is a great idea.

    I pity the poor young couple who has to go back to the rain and cold ! This morning we have 3° !!! Now it's time for the winter coat.
    At 10 I have to leave for the expo and prepare the snacks and drinks !

  65. Ah, yes, that palm tree reminded me of a similar tree we saw at Fuerteventura, growing through a building there too.

    Well, a "small" tree is not a problem if we not considering it a problem hah? *giggles*
