photo hunt: curvy

In case you missed Puppy last week, here it is again. But for a good reason: this flower sculpture sits in front of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. Which is my choice for this week's theme because of the remarkable curvy architecture. It was designed by Frank O. Gehry. Its brilliantly reflective panels resemble fish scales (Source) It is a fascinating piece of architecture! see for yourself.

  6. Those are great photographs of the curvy architecture. I'd love to see that. I've been to the Guggenheim museum in NYC several times and I thought that was very cool but I've never seen anything like the one in Bilboa. Have a great weekend.

  8. MAR - something strange here: Sculpture and architure for CURVES.

Believe me or not: I found s many sculptures of which we did piactures of from Chile, but they are all bad scans from slides. I'll do them better during the winter. So I ended up with one from Perigod in France.

Will be posted close to Saturday - if I'm awake.

btw - this weekend we are moving back to our winterhome - be aware: Mowing with all that stuff.

Wish you all a marvelous weekend

    btw. We meet at Halloween

  72. Curves in architecture seem to be a common take on this theme. Each and every one of them I have seen is a differentn sort of architectural curve. (I have architectural curves, too.)
