  2. Wonderful flowers - as allways. I'm happy I'm not there. We have the full moon here as well. And the wolf in me - woow - ooo oh wooow - ooo oh during the night.

  13. I soooooooo need a ticket to Barcelona! I wonder if Santa would bring me one? Never to early to start wishing...

I LOVE Hibiscus! But in this neck of the woods they are annuals! (they say bring them in and they will winter okay - but they get sO full of ants during summer that there is NO way they are coming IN for the winter!)

  17. Pictures of hibiscus sounds like a poem. I think August is sad because I can feel the end of summer in it, but it gets so hot that a part of you feels ready for it.

  18. Great hibiscus pics!

How do get the plants so large? Mine don't seem to make it through the winter and I have to replant each year. Not extremely low temps, sometimes in the mid-to-upper 20s is the worst. So, how to I bank them to live through that?

  19. Beautiful hibiscus. They're so gorgeous, and highly tropical looking! I have a lot of 'em in our yard that I planted.

And if you ever do the blog anagram...let me know. I'd love to read them.

  22. What pretty, pretty hibiscus :-))

Hi Mar, honey. I just scrolled down and now know what my sweet friend looks like :-)

We had a beautiful silver-white full moon last night, it was quite exceptional.

August here in the UK was much like July and June - mostly rain and cold.....definitely a summer to forget here in England!

  28. August stinks, apparently even where you live. I am so done with the humidity. Give me January days any day.

And, by the way, I don't the picture of you (in a few posts above) looks like Severus Snape. You're much too beautiful. Plus, don't you wear red lipstick like me? (I thought that was true from a TT we'd done a year or so ago.)
