Since I don't have a cat I can call my own, I have to borrow my parents' Chilean cat, Chicho, who needs an extra blanket nowadays since the winter is being extremely cold over there, with temperatures of -4.5ºC /24ºF, never heard of in the past in that part of the world. But besides shaking our heads because of global warming and its negative effects: isn't he a cutie? The feline watching behind belongs to my 9 yo sweet niece, Chicho was visiting.
That's nice that you borrowed a cat for COT ! I am sure there are a lot around to borrow each Tuesday !Pepsi had no problems for eating without teeth, she just does as toothless people do, she only eats wet can food (sorry people don't they eat purée)
ReplyDeleteHe is indeed a cutie, in fact when I clicked over to your blog and spotted the picture I immediately said, "aww." Which, of course, made my cat look up from his resting spot and glare over at me, as if to say - you better not be talking about another cat, Ms. Food Provider.
ReplyDeleteAnd, by the way: brrr! That is cold.
Thank-you Mar for visiting the "post of the day." I truly do appreciate it and I am quite certain that Marie also does.
What a cute photo! Happy COT!
ReplyDeleteADORABLE! My kitties will be jealous... they do NOT have their very own blankets -- they must share the human blankets. Sorry it's turning so cold in Chile now though! The weather is sO weird - all over the world!
ReplyDeleteAwww how cute is that!!
ReplyDeleteHe is very cute! :) I guess that temperature is cold for Chile, but I would consider that a very warm winter temperature myself! Cold is when it gets below -20°C, but I guess -4°C is cold if you've never experienced it before.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet kitty! I love the blue blanket.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! Such a cute & cuddley pic!
ReplyDeleteD :)
Chicho is so cute in his blue blanket! I imagine you see him via internet if he lives in Chile!
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you on COT. Climate problems are in our mind...
that's a beautiful blanket. I could use some like that because I can't afford the oil to heat the house the way the cats like in the winter!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cat, too, just gorgeous.
I need to borrow a kitty. What a great idea. Since I'm not doing the photo thing, the kitty I borrow could hunt mice out in my shed. My doxie who should be doing it, has taken a pacifist stand and refuses to kill anything!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute kitty! He looks like he has lovely soft fur. Thank you for your kind comment on my blog. Happy COT!
ReplyDeleteDarling picture, Mar, and yes, indeed, HE IS CUTER THAN CUTE! Very sweet in his little sleeping blankie...!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, to borrow a kitty! He is a beautiful boy, and looks so content in the blanket! I didn't realize that it was unusually cold in Chile. Climates are changing all over the world -- I hope there is something we can do about that but I am feeling a bit ashamed because I just bought a new car and it's not a hybrid. However, at my age (almost 60), tinkering around with a car is likely a thing of the past.
ReplyDeleteGlad you borrowed a kitty to play with us. He is adorable and that is a very cuddly shot. It is hard to believe anyone could need a blanket when on my side of the world we are cooking! Happy COT.
ReplyDeleteOH, don't show these kind of photos NOW! Cats always look like they have it so bloody cosy.... *giggles*
ReplyDeleteI'm sooo tired, butt must up "early" (well, bad sleep tonight) since we're going on that secret cruise!
*yawning BIG*
Such a sweet pic! I am not a cat lover but gosh, how can you resist that pic!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting my site the other day. Have a great day, Mar!
Chico seems to really have a cozy time under the blanket. And I see he has a bigger friend to guard him as well.
ReplyDeleteYes, according to photos from Argentina:

It's been unusual cold in Southern South America.
a CAT needs a blanket... what is wrong in this world???
ReplyDeleteI loved my cat but can not have another right now, I seem to need something that purrs, thankfully I have a wonderful girlfriend.
omg that's about the cutest thing I've ever seen!
