Bougainvillea - my absolute favorite! I saw it in Barbados (among other places) and it was a hedge about 15 feet tall, and covered in that delicious hot pink! Same thing in Hawaii.
Enjoy the trip to Germany and tell Opa we said Happy Birthday!
