This was the only visitor we had in the appartment while on vacation (the technician who came to repair a couple of things does not count!) I loved the contrast against the plastic chairs in the balcony. He didn't mind our presence... as he didn't mind gravity, either!
need coffee midnight here - darn that michele. hehe
ReplyDeletelove you mar!
he better start paying rent!!! i mean, we can't have creatures feeding off us like that. :)
ReplyDeletewe might attempt Hamburg today. at last!!! at long last! if we are not too lazy to just vegetate on the sofa....
Hello, Michele sent me.
ReplyDeleteNice shot. So vibrant! I'm used to the dingy brown kind around here.

We've got a fly that we can't seem to convince to leave. We also haven't been able to "catch" him!
ReplyDeleteGreat contrast, almost like Christmas on the patio! I captured a praying mantis yesterday, I'm not sure if I have decent pics of him yet - I expected him to be as green as your guest, but he looked like a stick!
ReplyDeleteGood your were able to capture that very well.
ReplyDeleteI have a lizard who just like the fly in maribeth's house doesn't want to leave. What's irritating here is that the lizard makes noise the other insects don't.
hi mar! thanks for stopping by! it's nice to get comments again after my break!
ReplyDeletesounds like your vacation was really nice and i like the pix of the grasshopper! very cool!
Wow! What great shots! I like grasshoppers! (and praying mantis) (and lady bugs ... but that's all!) LOL!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture!!
ReplyDeleteHere via Michele!
Hi, Michele sent me. I love the green against the red, very cool.
ReplyDeleteLove how vibrant the green is on the little guy. Great photo.
ReplyDeleteStopped by from Michele's, have a great day.
Michele sent me back.....we have these three lizards that have moved onto our porch and have set up what seems to be a permanant residence--and actually they need to stay, becuase my daughter has already started talking about naming them.
ReplyDeletegreat shot! Love the green on red. So when are you starting that photoblog? :)
ReplyDeletePretty colors, Mar!
ReplyDeleteWell, a visitor that doesn't leave a mess is always a good one! :)
ReplyDeleteWell isn't he a cutie-pie! Is that a 'death' picture, I mean the second one or is he just napping in a relaxed sort of manner? (lol)
ReplyDeleteWe get those kind of visitors all the time. Not lately though it is winter too cold for them to come out and play.
