Oh this is soooo very beautiful Mar. An Almond tree...WOW! Very Exotic sounding to me...And that it actually yeilds Almonds....I'd love to taste those...Do you have to do anything to them? I mean I know you can eat Almonds raw..but I'm assuming you can Roast them, too, if you want....And How long does it take for them to grow from where they are now?
I think we need another post about this, my dear Mar... Such Beautiful blossums!
Thanks, OOLOH!!! We harvest the almonds in september and don't do anything to them, wait until Xmas to eat them just plain (just like walnuts) although I suppose one could roast them too...Now I realize they are special and I should keep track of the almond and write a complete post in the fall, to have a follow up in their development. I love blogging because it is interactive! Thanks for your inspiring visit!
Wow are you lucky! Spring AND an almond tree, love almonds! It's 25 degrees here today and the stupid groundhog tells us we have 6 more weeks of winter to go. sigh
the almond blossoms are happening here in my corner of the world....there are almond orchards everywhere here and we are gearing up for the almond blossom festival complete with a parade and almond blossom queen. Life is grand in the Central Valley of California
Michele sent me tonight Mar...I love looking at these beautiful blossums, to be! I still would love to taste the Almonds that this tree yeilds along with everyone else who visits you, I'm sure!
Thanks for your comment, the best part of every post! ☀ IMPORTANT: ☀ kindly leave your direct link to the current meme, if you have multiple blogs. Thank you very much!!

ReplyDeleteWow - I guess it might be an early spring everywhere. The past day has felt so incredible but I'm not willing to wager on that one just yet.
