J is for James as in The Way of Saint James (Spanish: Camino de Santiago), which is the pilgrimage to the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in north-westernmost Spain where the apostle Saint James the Great is said to be laid to rest (wiki). Pictured is its symbol: a scallop shell found in Galicia during a vacation (did not do the pilgrimage!). A bit of editing was done just for fun.
I like the shading and all the lichens that have found a home on the stone.

Very impressive !
ReplyDeleteWhen I read your title I thought you would publish a picture of your butler ! I feel a slight disappointment :) !
Thanks for the information. I know several people who did this pelgrimage. I also know two men who cycled all the way. They told about it in church.
