E is for egg

Not edible, but still an egg...

Updated after the 7th comment, because bloggers always want to know everything!: this egg is made out of combarbalita, a Chilean semiprecious stone that presents a great range of colours which depends on the predominance of some minerals or mineralogical associations within the rock.
My prior entries for the challenge are here.

  2. Oh my gosh! It's gorgeous! WHAT is it made of? Is it marble? Or is it metallic? I think it might just be the lighting playing with my eyes... but I can't really tell! My first thought was silver... but then I thought maybe marble... I want to hold it!

Hard to see what it is, I bought some onyx eggs in Egypt but they are light green.

  8. Very pretty! We have some pysanky eggs in the pantry...they are supposed to dry out if you leave them alone...I just hope that no one dropps anything on them. I should move them to the top shelf...just in case.
