friday souvenirs

Something strange happened to my last pictures stored in my pc: whenever I click on one of them to have a larger view, there is another pic of the same set hiding behind the name... It's only with the last pictures , which I took with the new camera ... it makes it hard to find the picture you want to have but I managed to find these two from Seville, the first one is a richly decorated building we saw while we had a morning walk. The tower must be a church, seen from a back street... Click to enlarge and enjoy the details.

The second one is a detail of a large semicircular building - the Spanish Square, where scenes from Star Wars ' Episode 2 were filmed- which highlights all Spanish provinces. I looked for my "home" and took the picture of Barcelona, magnificent hand-painted ceramic tiles representing Christoph Columbus in an audience with the monarchs Ferdinand II of Aragon and Isabella I of Castile after one of his trips from the Americas.

  1. I don't know if my comment will be clever but your pictures are very nice (as always). It is very strange what happens to you with the new camera. If you want to see Arthur playing in the bath tube I just published him in a little video on my cat blog.

  3. Those are great pics. The detail is fantastic and the colours in those ceramic tiles are wonderful.

I hope you figure out what is going on with your camera, I'm afraid I can't help. Michele did send me over to say hi though!

  5. As always, Mar, the pictures are beautiful.
You know when we were on the trip my computer locked up, with ALL my pictures on it. I was dying until 1/2 an hour later when I finally got it going and downloaded all of them onto a disk.

  6. I've been experiencing a similar thing sometimes on my laptop, but it has gone away when I did a restart.

I'm really impressed over that architecture and decorations of it. What an artwork!!!!! Simply gorgeous!!! What a work they've done with it. Truly Admirable.

  7. And what's up with Bloggers comment area now? I can't get a link to my blogaddress any more, just to my blogger profile and I'm not interested in that since I don't have any blog there. It's like they're punishing us none-Blogger bloggers.

    Darn Blogger :-(

  8. Lovely. I think it's a duplicate number that has done this. It has happened before to me.

If you didn't delete the other pics, try to reupload and save them elsewhere...

Also, try separating your files and rebooting..

Good luck. My hunt it up, i'm not around for a day or two.
