winning colors

Busy times  make it difficult to sit down to blog, that's why this picture is my entry for all of this:

This is one of my two red hibiscus which came with the house ( built in the early 60's), the afternoon sun gives the yellow touches. Red and yellow are the colors of the Spanish flag.  In case you haven't heard (haven't you??) Spain won the World Cup yesterday,  celebrations will continue today as the team returns to Madrid and I imagine the ones from Barcelona arrive here on Tuesday, so there is still soccer fever in the air.

  5. I did watch the World Cup....and I was hoping Spain would win. Tho it was a very slipshod game...so many missed goals...it was frustrating for them as it was for me the viewer. Congrats to Spain...Viva Espana.

    Lovely hibiscus.

Macro Monday Parrot Do stop by if you can find time today.

  7. Yes, even I heard that ! That's why your flower is more orange then red ? Whole Holland was dressed up in orange yesterday and son and DIL even left earlier not to miss the final game. Today I have to send them my deepest sympathy, my son never watches football only worldcups.
BTW I have a new theme "the muffed target" where you can use your messed up pictures. (on Writer's Cramps)
