I wasn't planning a weekend snapshot for this week as I was supposed to spend the weekend in Madrid, coming back late today. But below you see the reason why our trip was postponed: the rain in Spain! which is most welcomed (and needed!) but not as a companion for a trip where we intended to do a lot of walking and sightseeing (plus pictures!), so we'll wait for another time with lots of sunshine.

This is a pelargonium which came with the house, so the plant is at least 15 years old.

The botanist sitting on the couch to my left says this flower has a much more common name: Martha Washington Geranium. I like the name you gave it much better.
