Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen random things: a year ago...

01. I didn't have this blog
02. I was learning new things with an initial blog nobody but my sister and a good friend were willing got to read it.
03. You didn't miss a thing!
04. The teenager was almost 17 and a junior in high school.
05. We had a Canadian exchange student at home
06. From Winnipeg
07. Our son had spent time with him and his family in Canada months before.
08. It was a fun family experience
09. Teenager had just had an accident riding his bike.
10. He had a scaphoid (wrist bone) fracture and a cast on for 6 weeks. It was his left hand, so he was happy he could still do his homework :)
11. When I expressed my surprise about the six weeks, the doctor told me if I would have had the same fracture, I would have needed a cast on for at least three months...

12. That was the doctor's charming way of reminding me of my old bones!
13. I shouldn't have paid that bill...!!

Thanks for stopping by my T13 and I am sorry you have had trouble getting on my site. My esteemed templete designer, KellyNelly, said it was not the template. In Foxfire it is not a problem, it seems to only be in IE.
