Very , very old license plate (estimated 50 years old!) as seen this morning at a Barcelona park. The "E" stands for España or Spain! The new plates have 4 digits and 3 letters and  the European stars are part of them.  Quite boring the old license plate design, the old VW was what  caught my  attention here and enabled my participation on this week's PH, didn't have anything otherwise. Straight out of the camera, I might edit it later to blur the license plate...should I? to protect the innocents??

I am a machine person because I welcome any help I can get to make my everyday life more pleasant. But I don't photograph machines... other subjects catch my eye, like Gaudi architecture in Barcelona. He must have used some sort of machines to build this, not only labor force...!!


PS: I prepared this post yesterday. As as I am about to hit the publish button I am simply devastated by the images I have seen from Japan . My thoughts are with the people there , with those who have lost loved ones and their homes. And particularly with those looking for loved ones... Such a terrible catastrophe...

G is for gathering

Saturday morning gathering in Horcon, a tiny coastal and picturesque Chilean village in the Pacific Ocean. Like every morning, local fishermen and buyers meet here hoping for the best deal. I just watched and took pictures, I didn't buy any fish  as we had planned to eat some at a local restaurant. It was delicious and fresh! A generous portion as well, a gastronomic delight, a gorgeous weekend!
