A flower I encountered during my walk by the beach and the Pacific Ocean in the Southern Hemisphere, where summertime is now coming to an end. I was 4 weeks away from the blogosphere, I only had time for "A" before leaving! More about fuchsias here. It also applies to the color fuchsia, which I much prefer over pink!.

I recently came back from the Southern Hemisphere, a trip I planned to spend quality time with family and friends. I was seldom alone, I seldom looked for a chance to photograph subjects other than smiling faces. One morning, however, while at a friends' condo facing the Pacific Ocean, I took a short walk along the garden and found these blooms. And some other beauties which will be the subject of future posts.

Giant silhouette seen in Central Chile, known for its Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Slowly getting back to blogging after spending several weeks there with family and friends. I was very busy being sociable and didn't have time for photography. In fact, this one is a shot from a prior visit. It's good to be back, I am happy to see you again!
