on the road

If you happen to go hiking in a ski area, don't be surprised to find some special fences like this one, they take recycling of lost ski poles seriously ! Seen at the French Alps.

I am not the one on the road right now but we are having company this weekend, so I will most likely not be in front of my pc again until sunday evening...

Weekend bonus: the monthly comment casting call at Miss Wings', 48 hours of nothing but finest blogging entertainment!

  2. That is a very clever use of Lost Poles! And it looks rather nice, too! Beautiful to see these montains in the summer and that path is wonderful, isn't it?

Yes, the mountains are beautiful in the summer too and the path was a great walk, OOLOH! mar

  24. Hi! I'm visiting from Wendy's. What a nice treat to meet a blogger from Spain. I lived in Italy for a year in college and always wanted to visit Spain but never got there. It's still on my top 10 list of places I want to visit.

(on a site note: that's neat how you can comment on people's comments. I've never seen that before.)

  26. Thank you for visiting my blog, Mar. I am visiting yours back. I usually don't visit human's blogs, but yours is good enough to make an exception.

  27. I saw your name at Wendy's Casting Call and came over to say "Hi." I see you are doing the Saturday Scavenger hunt, I just started that too. That is neat how they are recycling old ski poles. I think that is a great idea. I live in ski country. Not very good myself, but really enjoy the sport. Just took it up three winter agos.

  28. Dear Mar,

I am always happy to share my kitty toys. As long as I am asleep I don't care who plays with them. :)
