Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen things I did last week

01. I flew to Hamburg, Germany, where we used to live before moving to Barcelona.
02. We have relatives (Mr Mar's side) and many good and dear friends there.
03. Celebrated a wonderful bbq at the Elbe River with family and friends
04. It always amazes me how short the summer nights are over there, up north!
05. It was relatively dark (meaning not completely dark!) only from like 11:30pm until 4:30 am... and the birds went wild that early in the morning!
06. already mentioned in a prior post all I saw around me were soccer balls, soccer balls and oh, more soccer balls!
07. Yes, it is called World Cup fever.
08. and it is highly contagious! (see above banner...!)
09. Did a little shopping too. But very limited, since I wanted to keep only hand luggage, it saves a lot of time upon arrival!
10. Visited the current Frida Kahlo exhibition. A wonderful Mexican artist!
11. I also ate a delicious Franzbrötchen, a wonderful cinnamon pastry only available in Hamburg
12. Found the perfect bday present for Mr. Mar, which is not until September, but I am very happy I have it already!
13. Missed last week's TT, call it an addiction! hope some of you missed me too. Happy Thursday! oh, one of my pics was posted at Vickie's blog. Got line-dry laundry? got pics! submit them, she publishes them. Isn't that a great idea?

Today's bonus: Casting call for the next 48 hours. At Miss Wings' !!
